FAN FRENZY PRINTER WINNER

Congratulations to Clint Fuller winner of the Color Laser Printer that Iowa Technology Services donated to the fan Frenzy held by 1650 “The Fan” at Old Chicago. Fuller, who is a graphic designer said he was “really excited” and that he’d use the printer “to print out his proofs”. Iowa Technology Services was proud to be a part of “the Fan Frenzy”.
TECH TALK NOW ON MIX 96 AND 1650 THE FAN

Iowa Technology Services has started doing a weekly segment on Mix 96, and 1650 “the Fan” discussing a wide variety of computer topics. “Tech Talk” is presented every Wednesday at 8:50am on both Mix 96 and 1650 “the Fan”. Jason Burns of The Mix 96 Morning Show and Iowa Technology Services General Manager Jim Scott discuss computer topics that are on the minds of Cedar Valley Computer users. “I think it's really informative and helps simplify a lot of common tech questions people have.” Says Jason Burns of Mix 96. Jim Scott of Iowa Technology Services adds “We are discussing things that are on people’s minds. These are the questions we are getting when coming customers into our office and what people are asking about when they call us”. IOWA TECHNOLOGY SERVICES ADDS WEB DESIGN AND HOSTING SERVICES

In response to numerous customer requests, Iowa Technology Services has added a Web Designer to our staff. Aaron Hibben has over 5 years of web and graphic design experience and has an AAS Degree in Web Design and Development. In addition, Aaron has PC Technician experience which provides added depth to our Technical Staff. Iowa Technology Services has also begun providing web hosting for our customers. “Hosting provides a cost effective way to reach your customers” says Jim Scott General Manager. “Our goal is to provide web design and hosting at a reasonable cost to our customers.” You can check out our web services web page at

IOWA TECHNOLOGY SERVICES EMPLOYEE RECEIVES RE-CERTIFICATION

Steve Crozier, Certified Computer Examiner for Iowa Technology Services, has received re-certification from the ISFCE (International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners) as a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE). The certification process includes both a written test and hands-on practical skills assessment. This certification demonstrates an examiners knowledge and practical examination skills and abilities as they relate to the practice of digital forensics.
ACCEPTING NEW CUSTOMERS

Iowa Technology Services has begun accepting new customers in the Waterloo, Cedar Falls area. Services provided consist of Desktop, Server and Network support, Network Design Services, Data Recovery, and Computer Forensics Investigations. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm, with 24 hour emergency response.
